All your friends went on Outward Bound when you were younger and they came back and told you what an amazing experience they had – they probably still talk about it. By now you’ve probably graduated college or maybe you have a family of your own? Sure, you’re a little older and your time and resources are precious, but you still wish you could have your own Outward Bound adventure. You want that classic Outward Bound wilderness experience that your friends had, but you want to be with a group that you can relate to in age and life experience. Our adult 23+ courses offer a shorter, 1-2 week version of our time-tested expeditions – 12 months of the year so you can go when you want.
Explore the fundamentals of experiential education while living, breathing and experiencing it. With other educators, participate in an expedition designed to challenge and inspire you though backpacking in Pisgah National Forest and rock climbing or rappelling. Includes exchange of ideas and discussions on experiential education.

This sea kayaking expedition takes place in the waters of Puget Sound among the San Juan Islands. This is a perfect way to learn sea kayaking, see the Pacific Northwest and experience the sense of accomplishment only Outward Bound can deliver.
