Q: What day on your Outward Bound course was your favorite? I would say the day we all climbed the peak. That day was my favorite because right when we all got up there there, we all had a moment of clarity (especially Stephen) and I felt like it was all worth it.
Q: What moment on your Outward Bound course are you most proud of?
Climbing the peak!
Q: What is the funniest thing that happened on course? I think it would be when Davis and I were singing and we almost fell through a little dirt slide, then watching everyone else managing to keep steady.
Q: What was the coolest thing you saw while on course in Colorado? I would have to say it was the view from the peak. It’s the most beautiful sight I have EVER seen.
Q: How did you react when you found out you were
going on an Outward Bound course filmed by The Real World?
I had so many things going through my mind. I was so nervous,
but also was sooo happy! I wanted to scream (I think I did.)
Q: What’s it like to have camera’s filming your
every move?
OMG! It was so weird at first…for
a while, but then after the first or second day I got used
to it.
Q: What was most challenging about your Outward Bound
course? How did you overcome it?
Ummm… it would
have to be the climbing in general. I really don’t think
that I would have overcome the course without the girls and
the team.
Q: What would you say to another student getting ready to
go on an Outward Bound course?
Don’t doubt
yourself. Lose all self-doubt. Also, don’t be afraid
of all the challenges that will come. Be self-confident. And
ask questions because it is a learning experience.
Q: Who was your favorite Outward Bound intern (a.k.a. Real
World Roommate) and why?
I think it would be unfair
for me to identify only one. Because through the experience
I learned from them all… a life lesson.
Q: What was the most important thing you learned on
your Outward Bound course and how do you apply it to your
life?
I learned that even though we have been through
a disaster (Hurricane Katrina). There is more to life. Things
worth living for and I know I’ll keep that with me forever.
Q: What was your favorite meal?
My favorite meal
was the corn and potato chowder.
Q: How is your life different now that you have gone
on an Outward Bound course?
I am more sociable.
Q: Have you kept in touch with any of your coursemates?
Yeah, …Ashley O., Ashley K and Ashlen.
Q: Is there anything else you want to share with
us? I just want to tell everyone thanks because this
experience was wonderful.
