Outward Bound hits the road to 20 cities this March with Outside Magazine and climber Timmy O’Neill
Outward Bound is hitting the road from March to May as a proud sponsor of the “Outside University” tour. This national 20-city university tour is presented by Outside Magazine to promote an active outdoor lifestyle to a new generation of outdoor enthusiasts. The tour showcases an award winning multi-media presentation by speed climber and comedian, Timmy O’ Neill. In addition to a zany, interactive presentation the event will include video, music and many give–aways from outdoor manufacturers. Outward Bound staff and alumni will be on hand at each event to chat with students and also give away a free Outward Bound Adventure on each coast. The events are hosted by the University Outing clubs and will be held in university auditoriums. The tour will commence on March 24, 2004 at Harvard University in Boston, MA and continue on to 10 East Coast and 10 West Coast Universities. The grand finale will be held at Boulder Theater, home to the University of Colorado on May 19, 2004.
