The incandescent waters of the Caribbean are the clearest and most
colorful on earth. The water temperature is always above 75 degrees
F, ideal for coral formation and home to a variety of species including
butterfly, angel, and parrot fish, starfish, stingrays, sand dollars
and three types of sea turtles. The Exumas consist of 365 cays or
islands spanning 150 miles of the Bahamas. Mostly underdeveloped,
these low-lying limestone islands are dotted with silver top and
thatch palm trees and are home to abundant wildlife .
