Why did you choose to join Outward Bound? I've always wanted to work for a non-profit company and Outward Bound was a great fit. It's rare to be able to combine your enjoyment of the wilderness with your job.
What's the most rewarding aspect of working for Outward Bound? Helping people get away and re-discover themselves in the wilderness.
Tell us about a favorite conversation with a potential student: I received a call back from one of our financial aid recipients, and he could not believe that we were actually going to help cover his tuition. He was overly excited!
Tell us about a recent accomplishment or adventure: I completed a 10 day Montana High Alpine course in August of '03. It was the perfect course: our instructors were amazing, our group was the best, and the Bear Tooth mountain range is spectacular in beauty and ruggedness.
