For adults, Outward Bound means spending time in a beautiful place where "going to work" means setting off across a lake in a headwind and challenges are opportunities, not tests. It's a chance to breathe; a chance to taste life "off the grid" and know it will all be waiting when you get back. Most of our adult courses offer the same level of physical challenge as our other expeditions but simply have a higher minimum age (21+, 25+ or 30+). Look for courses with a minimum age of 21 or higher.
Adult Tailored: These adult-only courses offer lighter packs and shorter routes, enabling you to focus more on the wilderness setting, and group discussions - an experience tailored specifically to the adult learner.
Adult Renewal: Renewal courses have a purposeful approach to gaining perspective and are ideal for adults in transition or who are just feeling a hunger for insight. Instructors will deliver a facilitated succession of topics that offer you the opportunity to examine, among other things, where you have been, where you are now and where you would like to go.
