Outward Bound offers two unique family experiences:
Family - Bring the whole family on an adventure that is
not your typical family vacation.
Parent/Child - With up to four other pairs, explore the natural
world and learn more about each other.
This 7-day course is a backpacking expedition in the Rocky Mountains and includes rock climbing, solo and a peak attempt as well as a day of rafting. Is ideal for a parent and child (or other familial two-some or three-some) who seek to renew and enhance their relationship in a physically dynamic and supportive environment.

This family oriented course is either 5 or 7 days and takes place on the Deschutes River in Oregon or the Lower Salmon River in Idaho.

This is a one week desert adventure in the mystical and amazing Joshua Tree National Park. Outward Bound Family courses are designed for any familial group of, ideally 2 or 3 members. Shared adventure means shared memories, laughter and fun.
